There is one way to staunch the tide: DON’T TAKE THE FINE ARTS FOR GRANTED. Join us on the ‘front lines’ of the effort to keep the Arts a vibrant part of the community.
Pioneer Playhouse Mission Statement
To be a leading regional arts complex, school of drama, and outdoor theatre, dedicated to developing self-esteem and creativity of both actor & audience in order to expand the mind, awaken the heart and kindle the human spirit.

The Pioneer School of Drama (d.b.a) Pioneer Playhouse is a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization, run by a board of directors. Donation receipts are available, upon request.
To donate:
- Make out a check (any sized amount) payable to Pioneer Playhouse and mail to: Pioneer Playhouse, 840 Stanford Rd., Danville, KY 40422. Unless specified, your donation will go towards operational expenses. (categories of support: Operational expenses, foundation, capital campaign, scholarships/ school of drama)

AREAS OF SUPPORT URGENTLY NEEDED:
- Operational (every year the Playhouse goes “in the red”, your donation can help close the annual $40,000/per year, annual loss)
- Foundation – The Playhouse seeks to set up a 1-million dollar Foundation, to secure the future.
- Capital Campaign – The Playhouse is seeking 4-million dollars to remodel the theatre, in an aesthetically beautiful “green” plan that build’s upon the theatre’s recycling past. The plan will cherish the past while reaching for a brighter tomorrow. The theme will be called “roots and wings.”
