Suggested Itinerary

Dinner & Theatre Package:
7:00pm Pick up reserved tickets at the historic Playhouse Box Office (Once a railway station in the 1957 MGM extravaganza ‘Raintree County’.)

Then enjoy a self guided tour of our adjacent early 19th century ‘Main Street’ Village Museum (free!) The village contains many store fronts and antiques from Danville in the early 1900's.

Also visit (free of charge) the Raintree County display, featuring photos depicting a time when Danville was the epicenter of the world, during the 1956 filming of MGM's Raintree County.

Pioneer Playhouse was built almost exclusively out of materials spanning 200 years of Kentucky history, including movie sets, log cabins, livery stables, WW2 army barracks, utility poles --see what else you can spot!

7:30pm Dinner is served, announced by the ringing of the Old Danville Firehouse fire bell. Live folk music accompanies dinner.

8:30pm Show time!
